Compensation question
On 15 Jun I flew Ba297 LHR-ORD to connect to AA3766 ORD-CID (Sold as BA6940). The OR-CID flight was first delayed due to technical issues and after 2 hours the crew run out of crew duty time. So the flight was cancelled and then replanned for a 16 June departure at 06:30. We were offered Uber vouchers and hotel, which I took, plus a $12 meal voucher.
Is there any mechanism to claim for compensation for the delay as the EU261 rules wont apply as it was a US flight?
The knock on was a ruined Monday morning meeting plans and a slightly grumpy person for the day due to lack of sleep.

Here is the Dutch Court ruling on a Domestic UA flight purchased as a Lufthansa codeshare: https://curia.europa.eu/juris/docume...=1&cid=5603798
