Why does AA zero out saved fields when using partner FF accounts?
I have recently been booking AA-metal flights through aa.com (so far so good LOL). I prefer to do so as they get automatically loaded into the app which makes them easy to service, etc.
However I decided to credit flights to Alaska as it it easier for me to obtain elite status. When I change the AAdvantage default to AS on the drop down menu it requires me to zero out all of the pre-filled data that is saved in my profile (for every passenger).
Admittedly this probably falls under "Whats the stupidest, least substantive thing you can complain about?" but it's a slap in the face every time I am buying product from AA.

You are not the only one - it is just one of the many chickenshiat things AA does.
AA refuses to upgrade FF to business on TATL. BA does though. Guess who we fly even though I do not like LHR at all.

On the flip side AA still offers partner TATL awards for 55k, and you can avoid the heinous BA surcharges and LHR taxes if you do not originate in London.
