Best tool to search for award availability

It's been years since I redeemed AA awards. I used to use expert flyer to search AA inventory. What's the best tool to search for AA award inventory? TIA

If you're looking for AA awards then aa.com is the only option. All AA awards are priced dynamically so ExpertFlyer no longer works for most AA searches.

If you're looking for partner awards then there are a few other sites you can use to cross reference available inventory, but there's no reason not to start your search with aa.com.

I use https://seats.aero/ and it works perfectly. I found and booked in the last year: LAX-SYD AA F, LAX-DOH-MLE QR J, CDG-DOH-PER QR F all using Advantage miles through searching on seats.aero. There are other options as well like https://roame.travel/ and https://www.pointsyeah.com/, but seats.aero is my preferred. Experflyer is pretty much useless at this point.
karenkay and ZenFlyer like this.

Can you look for C class inventory for SWU availability on those databases?

Unfortunately, seats.aero only had United and Air Canada for upgrade availability, I'm not sure about the others. I'm hoping they will add other carriers like AA soon.

So does that mean expert flyer is still the best tool to look for SWU availability?

Award Tool is another one to try. Haven't used aero. ANyone used both to compare?

I've still had success with Award Nexus too.

Tried Aero and like the ease of functionality, but it gave me a bunch of false positive results on American. I'll keep trying thought.
