You’ve been lucky. I travel MEX-USA through DFW just about weekly, and when I’m buying a week out, flights are often J1 or 2. Maybe those last seats never sell, and they go to upgrades, but it’s a tight market.

All of my flights are always on tuesday, wednesday, or saturday.

Quieter days for sure. Mine are Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, LOL.

I'm guessing this is a big reason for our differences in experiences. The upgrade offers have become cheap, though. They are always under $200, and I have seen them for as low as $100 before.

Upgrade offers? Jeez. I'm trying to get into J out of here tomorrow, and it's been J0 for two weeks! I'm sure I'll be first on the u/g list, and I have an EF alert for J1 to just buy it if open up tonight. At least I have a good MCE seat, but honestly, it's been a long time since I've sat in Y.
