Upgrade QF Ticket on AA Metal

Hi,

I'm flying to Sydney on a Qantas ticket that was rebooked due to a flight cancellation on AA metal. Our tickets are Premium Economy, cash tickets, and have AS mileage numbers.

On our original Qantas flights, we were bidding for an upgrade. What, if any, are our upgrade options on the AA flight? Can we go through the usual paid upgrade steps despite it being a QF ticket and not using AA loyalty programs?

Thanks!

I don't think that with a Qantas issued ticket for travel on AA that there will be an option to pay to upgrade

Other than the (very) full retail fare difference via QF (if you purchased from QF).
QF or AA flight number? Flying when?
On QF MMB bid now upgrade button gone?
AA - QF do not have cross airline upgrade scheme using AA ff miles - QF ff points. AS ffn another complication.
An AA flight will be AA freq flyers hoping for an upgrade
Been often reported premium cabins have high loads USA<----->AU
Enjoy the trip in PE
