Refund of surcharges for AA Award on BA Metal
I've searched and could not find the answer to my question, sorry if this is a rerun!
I'm looking at a business class Award LAX-LHR using AA miles but on BA metal for 57,500 miles + $735. If I need to cancel the trip, I know that AA miles will be re-deposited, but in this scenario will my $735 also be refunded or is that lost money?

My experience is that finding Biz Saver inventory on AA metal LAX-LHR is between impossible and never happens. Hope you're luckier than me. Anytime can be had.
