Bonus Loyalty Points from Citi AA Executive Spending ($40,000 = 10,000 point bonus)?
Wondering if any FTers have successfully seen the 10,000 loyalty point bonus hit their account after spending $40,000. I hit the threshold in early January and a second statement has now closed after hitting the spend number and I did not receive the EQMs (should have posted prior to 2/28/2022) and I have not received the loyalty points.
I called Citi and they said that I should wait an additional 4-6 weeks before calling back.
Any data points would be most helpful.

Is there some sort of graph that shows how far along we are to the 40k spend threshold on the Citicard website? There was one last year for the EQM but I can't find it for the LPs.

I called Citi today to see where my bonus points were. As soon as the agent at Cit heard "loyalty points" he transferred me to AA. Of course the AA agent could do nothing other than say they hadn't posted and all of that absorbed 20 minutes on the phone. I haven't received an email saying that I've earned a bonus from Citi. I'm assuming the 40k is added up from Jan 1?
I suppose I might try Citi again at some point but I'm too annoyed to call again currently.

My 10,000 LPs posted at the same time as the statement LPs posted for the statement that put me over $40K. I also got an email from AA at the time. From the T&Cs in the email
10,000 Additional Loyalty Points Benefit
The primary credit cardmember will earn 10,000 additional Loyalty Points after spending $40,000 in purchases that post to the cardmember’s account each qualifying year. The 2022 qualifying year will be defined as January 1, 2022 to February 28, 2023 (14-month period). Starting in 2023 and going forward, a qualifying year will be defined as beginning on March 1st and ending on February 28th of the following year (12- month period). A primary credit cardmember may earn the 10,000 additional Loyalty Points only once each qualifying year, even if the credit cardmember has more than one Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive account. The 10,000 additional Loyalty Points earned are in addition to any Loyalty Points earned for purchases made on the credit card. Purchases exclude returned goods or services, cash advances, convenience checks, transferred balances, credits, fees and interest charges. Purchases made through additional credit cards on the primary credit cardmember’s account (Authorized Users) will count toward the primary credit cardmember’s qualifying spend.
Additional Loyalty Points earned as a result of this benefit will typically be posted to the primary credit cardmember’s AAdvantage® account 8-10 weeks after meeting the $40,000 spend requirement. Loyalty Points only count toward status qualification for the AAdvantage® program. Loyalty Points earned through this benefit will not count toward AAdvantage® Million MilerSM status. Loyalty Points cannot be redeemed for award travel, AAdvantage® miles or any other AAdvantage® program awards. AAdvantage® program status requirements and balance are available at aa.com/newaadvantage ».

Are you just adding up the amounts of each statement? Did it post as a separate line item on your AA account or was it just added in to the regular Citi posting as an additional 10k?

If you sum the Citi AAdvantage Executive Charge Purchases line items that posted in 2022 to your AAdvantage account (not including Citicard Bonus Miles and Citi AAdvantage Bonus for AA Purchase line items), are you over 40K?

It's a separate line item with 1 award mile and 10,000 loyalty points.

Chat agents can't help with this type of question so after going through 3 menus of options on the Citi 800# I selected rewards and the agent might know what he is doing. He says they sent the 10,000 bonus LP to AA on Feb 28th although that makes no sense because even if I include My Jan 4th statement balance where most of the spend took place in December of 2021 it doesn't work out to 40k.
Now they have transferred me to an AA specialist so I'm no longer on the phone with Citi. The AA Specialist has no idea of the offer so I had to explain all the details to him and he has opened a "resolution ticket" and says I should see the loyalty points post in two weeks. I had to provide the last 4 digits of the card as well as my birthdate. That was another 25 minutes on the phone so hopefully they will post . If it doesnt post after two weeks I suppose I will call the AA Executive Liaison desk to see if they can help.

FWIW, My 10K LP bonus posted 3 days after my statement (and 2 days after that statement's points posted).

Does anyone know whether "cardmember's account" mean the AA account or the citi account? For some reason I thought that everything that posted to the citi account, whether before or after 1/1/22 counted as long as it was on a statement that closed and was communicated to AA after 1/1/22.
