Let's just hope there's no maintenance on your flight out of DFW. Looks like your flight leaves at 7:25pm and the weather will start to roll in around 1-2am at DFW.

Is that the lounge where the shower is free but you have to pay 12 euro for a towel? Or maybe that was a random Priority Pass lounge?

Let the odds begin:

1. Chance of AA DFW-JFK Thursday being delayed
2. Chance of AA DFW-JFK Thursday being canceled
3. Chance of AA JFK-MXP Thursday night being delayed
4. Chance of AA JFK-MXP Thursday being canceled

Every time I collected EQMs and EQDs as though I had paid for BA J.

GBT (Amex) sent out an email today that MXP and LIN may have strikes this week. I think Herb687 called in a favor.

5. 50%+ won’t make it out of Plano

If fully vaxxed, there is no longer a need to take a pre-departure test in order to enter the UK.

Re the towels at the T4 Dali lounge, I flew through MAD in Nov and had a 5hr layover, so grabbed a shower to freshen up. There was no charge for the towel.

Are you on board? Looks like your flight should be leaving soon.

yes. Delayed now as they are still loading cargo. Captain comes on the horn and says it’s light freezing rain now and we’ll have to deice. If it gets worse “we’ll have to come back to the gate with another plan”.

AKA my ... is off this plane. We had a window to leave to avoid deicing (according to the captains announcement) and now because of cargo delays this trip is jeopardy.

Oh wow! I see that the flight has been delayed ~30 minutes. Hope you get out before things get worse!
