shower availability in DFW, LAX, and MIA Admirals Clubs? (AC showers closed)

Asking on behalf of those who may be seated near me on an upcoming mileage run
Does anyone have recent, first-hand information on the availability of showers in the DFW, LAX, and MIA Admirals clubs? Thank you.

My understanding from reading several posts from other users is that the showers are still closed.

I can confirm that the Clubs in DFW, PHX and CLT have the showers closed.

No showers in CLT unless you get the bartender to hose you down with a soda gun.

Catch me on the right day and I may accept that...

MatthewLAX reported that they were available at LAX, I believe. If so, that'd be the only place in the AA system that I am aware of that is currently offering showers.

You are better off paying for a day rate at a hotel... will probably be much cleaner than anything AA can offer

What's your basis for saying this? I've spent a fair bit of time in ACs since they've reopened and have seen the staff doing a superb job of cleaning and disinfecting.

I've been scoring $157 DCA-DFW-TPA fares in F recently... 3.7 cents per EQM, plus a nice stop into the Centurion at DFW, makes for the closest thing to a mileage run I've had in ages!

I also have a mileage run in the upcoming weeks and wondering if the showers are open in LAX, SFO & DFW?
I would start at LAX so showering shouldn't be an issue as I would be able to shower at my friend's house before heading to the airport but I'll appreciate a shower at DFW where I'll have an overnight layover and do not prefer to pay the full night price for a hotel for 5-6 hours.

DCA-DFW-MIA-RDU is much cheaper. $112 and 1.8 cents for EQM.
Wide availability after 5 January 2020. You could visit both the Centurion Lounge in DFW & MIA.

Thanks for the tip--I actually have business in TPA... but maybe I need to drum up some business in RDU!

I am doubtful that DFW's showers will be open any time soon. You could try Minute Suites in a pinch.

Does anyone know if the showers in The Terminal D AC are open? I had thought that they were but I can’t figure out how I determined that.
