Is this a "fake" Flagship First ticket?

AA website is showing dinner even as late on that 125am 772 red eye to Miami. Its weird how Lax-Mia is getting "Dinner" but Lax-Jfk red eye is Snack although it always used to say Snack and was still far more substantial than a snack. Looks like you will get a meal and even get the soft product amenities of the 77W flight given its marketed as Flagship.
I have gone back and forth due to changing the dates and an aircraft swap (the 1225 typical 77W was moved to a 1255 A321). As of now I am set for a 772 lunch flight at 10am and just hoping it doesnt get swapped to A321. No lounge access since not a 77W but from what I can the soft product amenities. This whole thing with the ticket saying FF on the 772 in F should be fixed though as it is very confusing.
Its funny you can get into a lounge in europe on a 1 hour nothing business class recliner seat flight but here cross country on a 772 flat bed seats for 4 x the money and you cant get into the lounge, despite it saying FF.
Really curious if the red eye does get the full dinner, if you can post after your trip. I am still thinking of maybe switching to the 77W red eye.

Now that I've completely discredited myself by quoting the OP when we were clearly talking about LAX-MIA:
True that a seasoned AA flyer will know that J/F on 3 class planes only get lounge access on that route, many "unseasoned" flyers will see "Flagship First," and assume that they have access, as "Flagship First" is a product that is marketed as including amenities such as FL and usually FD.
The burden is on AA to fix their website and/or honor what is stated on the ticketing page. Not the passenger to verify whether the 777 in question is a -200 or -300. It still is not fixed.
I would assume that a passenger, armed with screenshots of their ticket saying "Flagship First," could write in and easily get compensation.
Of course it's not a battle that I would go out of my way to pick, but I could see this tarnishing AA's look for many ocAAsional flyers.
Could also partially explain all the J/F denials on the 77W flights, which we've been discussing in the FL thread.

If on a qualifying FF ticket for MIA-LAX (777-300) is one still allowed to use FF checkin? I notice the website says the below, which seems to say this benefit ended some time ago?
- LAX and Miami (MIA) – traveling on B777-300 aircraft only (through October 26, 2019)

AA is confusing b/c FL, FF check in & FFD all have different rules. I was once flying MIA-LAX-Vegas and after returning from lunch in Santa Monica on the layover I was denied access to using FF check in at Lax (I had carry on but just wanted to use the escort up the elevator and to the front of the line). However, I was allowed into FFD with no issue. And being denied FF check in was technically correct as per their policy. Just weird that you dont get that but you can go drink all the good booze you want and have a ton of food for free prior to a 40 minute flight to Vegas but you cant get an escort to the front of the line.

My ticket said Flagship First but it was obviously J class (I knew it) at the Flagship lounge I was given Flagship dining but then my wife gave her ticket and the agent realized it was FF in J class so she apologized and took the dining card from me.
It sucks but I knew what I was entitled to. Most people dont, AA should fix that.

I know its absurd. Ticket says First. Booking said Flagship First, cabin is Flagship Business. To add more to the irony. The menu on every seat reads: "Flagship First" while the overhead bins says: Reserved for "Flagship Business" lol

I just looked back at photos of both my mobile and paper boarding passes from prior Flagship flights, including a JFK-LAX flight in Flagship F on the A321T last week, and the word Flagship isn’t mentioned anywhere, so it’s not clear to me how a club check-in agent could have been confused about that.

Could you explain what you mean when you say your ticket said Flagship First?
