AA markets its product aggressively within Japan -- moreso than either UA or DL.
I thought LAX is one of the more civilized connection especially after the opening of T4 CBP. All Japan flights land between 10-6 where T4 CBP is open, and usually there is no more than 2 flights arriving on the same hour. If I am seated in premium cabin or MCE, I have never arrived at the baggage claim after my bag does. Plus LAX has all those nice lounges and stuff.

DFW can have really long lines during the afternoon Asia flight arriving peak, and ORD there is the change of terminal nonsense

Selfishly (as I live in central Tokyo with family in Miami), I wish AA would have applied for HND-MIA.
