Mrs. Jrobin is likely to buy a device now that she may otherwise not have purchased for some time, primarily for entertainment on these flights.
She will be very pleased if the systems are all down as in your case, and she still has her own entertainment.

If you are running "entertainment" her power consumption will be significant so that unless the flight is less than 1 1/2 hours most tablets/iPads etc will not have enough battery life.
