AA Authorized User Help

Hello,

I am trying to add my parents as authorized users on my AA Executive World Elite Mastercard so they have access to an American Airlines lounge for their upcoming trip. However, the citi website only ask for name and birthdate. Does anyone know if the authorized user account get linked to my AA Frequent flyer number, or are they able to link it to their Frequent Flyer number? Do they have to have the credit card with them in order to get in, or will it allow them to use their frequent flyer number like I can?

Thanks!

Unlike the primary cardholder, authorized users do not get a full AC membership (tied to an AA number), they only receive AC access and need to have the card present for entry (AFAIK). Thus, the authorized user accounts are not linked to an AA number (since any card spend and miles earned just flow back to the primary account holder).

AA seems to have added a later flight out of MCO on 1/1 (departs at 9:50p). However, the Admirals Clubs close at 8:30p. How likely is it they'll extend the hours?

Correction: I stated 1/2, but the additional flight is on 1/1

Don't know for sure, of course, but they are generally pretty good at keeping the ACs open until the last flight departs (or close to).

Thank you for the information!
