Flying ORD-AMM in RJ Crown (business) class. As a Oneworld flight, I assume we get access to the AA Flagship Lounge at ORD (T3). I'm not a regular Oneworld flyer. Can others with more knowledge on this confirm? I know RJ uses the Swissport Lounge in T5. We have about a five-hour layover and think spending most of that time in the Flagship Lounge would be better. Then allow a reasonable amount of time to get to T5, clear security, and wait for our flight. Any advice is appreciated.

I recently flew LAX - JFK in business on a 3-class A321, and then connected JFK - MIA. I was still allowed into the MIA FL. It's not clear if that is what AA intended, but the agent scanned my LAX - JFK boarding pass and didn't bat an eye.

Do AA PLT/PPRO get Admirals and FL access on a Flagship itinerary like HNL-DFW-PHL if flying in Y? The long haul is a flagship route. The way the access policies read on aa.com, it sounds like a no though that's odd if those same travelers would get it if it were a different, similar length flagship route.

Just one of those things, Hawaii used to not include any lounge access so it's better than nothing I guess. |
Can anyone confirm whether or not LAX FFD is still closed? Flying redeye out tomorrow night and looking at what my airport meal options are.

JFK's new lounge model already dropped FFD a few months ago, leaving just DFW and MIA (for now).

The Flagship First Dining at JFK was replaced by the joint British Airways and American Airlines Chelsea Lounge, which offers a la carte dining just as FFD did.

À la carte dining with much worse food and minus the great views.

Personally would say "with the same bad food" but to each his own. FFD certainly wasnt about the food for me. But such a nice spot to relax and have some privacy and LPGS (when they managed not to bothch the ordering of it).
