No, the Greenwich Lounge is a fourth type of lounge. Access is granted based upon status and itinerary, not membership. It seems as if it is a lesser Flagship Lounge replacement compared to the Soho Lounge.

From the linked article:

Access will be granted to the following passengers:
  • American Flagship Business flyers (including on transcontinental routes).
  • American Platinum flyers on Flagship routes, including from the U.S. to:
  • Asia.
  • Australia.
  • Europe.
  • Middle East.
  • New Zealand.
  • South America (excluding Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, Suriname and Venezuela).
  • Access is available regardless of cabin class.
  • British Airways Club World passengers.
  • Oneworld Sapphire members from non-U.S. programs on any same-day Oneworld flights.
While American has historically only offered three tiers of lounges (Admirals Club, Flagship Lounge and Flagship First Dining), the co-location with British Airways in New York means there will now be four types of lounges at the airport.
Edited to add that Acidity beat me to it.

Just to confirm what I think is right.

If no status anywhere flying JFK-MEX in (well, F, but you get the idea) I get access to admirals club (for now), but not flagship.

If I fly it with non-AA OWS, I DO get access to flagship (+1 guest), but not dining.

Correct?

I keep reading Chelsea & Soho are above Gates 14-20 but I've never seen any gates but 14 & 16 in that area. I just recently boarded for GRU from 16 and there is just a 14 & 16.

I hope I am wrong but seeing the same chef who ran FFD is running Chelsea's sit down restaurant I dont have any sort of good expectations. I had 17 different items at FFD and non were worthy of any sort of true compliments and none would be something I would ever pay for. I know in the end it comes down to who is on the line cooking so maybe that will be upgraded but something tells me it wont. Its nice to see all the champagne options though. Hopefully they wont run out of Krug how FFD consistently was out of LPGS. Was wondering is the LP that is listed on the champagne bar menu inferior to the LPGS? So the Krug is the best of the options?

You should monitor the dedicated lounge thread on the BA forum…you’ll be lucky to get a burger and cold champagne, let alone Krug. The actual champagne menu has already been chopped down from the one shared with the bloggers.

The menu is slimmed down, but early photos of the food look solid, putting aside the limited availability.

Arriving DFW from LHR to Terminal D, connecting flight from Terminal A on AA codeshare, one ticket purchased from BA.com.

I understand I clear customs and re check luggage on arrival and then clear security ....am I returning to Terminal D security and can I access FL as a Silver? later connecting to Terminal A for my flight via Skylink or walk if that is possible?

Alternatively, after re checking luggage, I assume I could make my way landside to Terminal A and enter the Admiral Club there? or do the same after re entering Terminal D instead of heading to FL in Terminal D (if I have access)?

I have 3 hours between arrival and departure.

Yes, you will clear immigration and customs in D, then proceed upstairs and clear security in D as well, which will dump you out in the terminal not far from the Flagship Lounge.

With a 3 hour connection you should have a solid 1 - 1.5 hrs. of Flagship Lounge time.

Once it's time to head to A for your connecting flight you can either walk or take the SkyLink. All terminals are connected airside, I always walk unless I'm in a rush, just depends on how much time you have and if you want the exercise.

Also note that gates change frequently, so your flight might be showing an A gate today but that could change tomorrow.

Widebody LAX/MIA flights are considered Flagship routing and thus get you into the FL so on that alone you would get in. You can also use the FL at LAX upon arrival.

Thats pretty lame, changing the menu before you even open. The champagne bar looked like the best part.

Flying QF YVR-SYD, Do I have FL access at LAX if same day to YVR?

I'm flying YVR-SYD in QF J, booked on a separate ticket from LAX-YVR that same day in economy. Being that my international J ticket is departing from Canada, and is booked on a separate ticket from my LAX-YVR leg, will I be able to access the LAX Flagship Lounge on my way to YVR?

Yes show your YVR-SYD ticket to admiral lounge they should give you the FL card. I believe u can go to OW lounge in Bradley as well but FL should be nicer.

If OP is Emerald, he will have a shot at OW First Lounge which IMO is nicer than FL.

Exactly, the OP could visit the QF First Lounge at TBIT if he wishes, which is better than the FL, but I would advice him to stick with the AA Flagship Lounge unless he has more than 2h30mins of time at LAX. The food at the Qantas F Lounge is all a-la-carte and during peak times, it could take up to 15-20 minutes for a dish to be prepared alongside with the additional walk to/from T4 where the OP would take the bus to the Eagle's Nest where his YVR flight is likely to depart from.

If the OP would arrive at LAX closer to his flight, the Flagship Lounge would be a better choice it has better and more variety of offerings in terms of the buffet.

Just to double check - flying YVR-DFW, OW Emerald - I have access to flagship lounge on arrival, right? But I guess it's not a good idea to stay long if I'm checking a bag?

Sounds like you are just admirals unless your OW Emerald is non AA non Alaska
