Yeah, the 7:00 AM departure will be right smack dab in the middle of the national morning news shows on the east coast.

I'll also repeat that the United 787 inaugural was a 7:20 AM departure from Houston and it was arguably a much bigger deal, so there is precedent for the early departure.

Honestly, a 321 is a good plane for the route. But I don't think there's any significance to the 787 flights.

What is up with the "32B" being used on the 7 am both ways... It is every day but why fake the transcon label?

Noticed that too. Though I'm thinking aircraft must arrive from DFW first..so I don't think anything earlier than 10am at the very earliest, if that at all.

Any flight I've had with a new AA 321 shows 32B even though it's not the transcon version.

They use the 32B for their domestic flights to. MCO to DFW has 32Bs but it's their two class cabins they haven't created a separate equipment code for some reason.

32B in this case is the non-transcon A321 equipment with 16F / and 160something Y.

There was a poster earlier saying that AA canceled holds that are "duplicates", i.e. for consecutive flights, like the 7 and 7:15 from dfw-ord.

Gahh this is how us die hard inaugurals are welcoming valentine's day :/ wish the *flight itself* was today... Much less... Torturous shall we say? I am debating whether to early AM alarm it out.
