Booking Code O? [Does it earn AA miles?)

I'm looking at a flight (PHL-FRA-PHL) right now and it shows on AA.com as Booking Code "O". The flight is on US metal and is an AA codeshare. When I look up this booking code on aa.com for miles earning, I don't see it mentioned as a possibility. What is the earning rate for this booking class?

All AA/US metal flights accrue 100% EQM in all classes.

O is US domestic upgrade either with miles or status. Which means 100% as you booked into Y. Never seen it on an international route though. I/J are the upgrade fares for international routes. Though I'm sure you know all this since you're US Gold, but FYI...must be a codeshare thing.

Assuming you didn't book the entire itinerary on miles you'll earn at least 100%. 150% if you paid cash for a J ticket.

When I look on aa.com here, "O" shows earning 100% EQM, 50% EQP, same as G, Q, N and S.

Just had one reversed to yours- AA-metal international Y, booked as the US codeshare. Showed booked in AA O. No issues with the posting of 100% EQM to the DM account (showing as E in the list).

O is a deep-discount economy fare bucket for AA.

Not sure if this is the case now for US since it doesn't look like they've finished aligning all of the fare classes yet.

Fortunately, as the OP is flying on a US-operated flight as an AA-marketed / codeshare flight, only the AA fare code is relevant.
