Where are they operating domestically is my main interest at the moment please?
thank you.
Out of MIA the only wide body domestic service is to DFW. ORD/LAX did have a 788 but not sure if that's still running. All of the wide body service seems now replaced by 738s and 321s.

Actually even MIA-DFW was ended a couple weeks ago. The only domestic widebody flights currently served in May are DFW-LAX and DFW-HNL.

Walking by a MIA/DFW gate today it was a 773. Must have lots of cargo to move. Lucky day upgrades.

very cool, not on the schedule so very nice upgrade. I flew MIA-DFW last week in an A319 (actually not complaining, it was one of the ones with screens and great seats), so that would have been a nice upgrade!

I'm flying DFW-ORD AA 1258 in late June and it is a 788 and scheduled as such for all of June starting the 4th I believe. Whether it stays that way, who knows (it survived my June schedule massacre at the beginning of May so I'm hopeful).

Is DFW-HNL even running in May? Or maybe you mean LAX-HNL?

Right you are, it is LAX-HNL which is a 788 according to the schedule.

I thought I read they were adding a 788 between PHL & DFW to help improve hub to hub connectivity?

Good morning. When does AA typically announce their widebody cargo schedule? I checked at aacargo.com and they only have the schedule up to 5/31. I find in these uncertain times, cargo widebody schedules are far more accurate than looking at flight schedules. thank you

In normal times, I usually see them posted 3 months in advance. I imagine that due to the pandemic they are making all sorts of aircraft swaps with schedule changes, and probably won't be able to provide that much advance notice for a while.

AA 1357

Been a while since I flew the AA 777 domestically.

Years ago, I recall being able to book J seats although it was coach service. Is that still a thing?

I see its a 77W. Is flagship service offered on these routes? Im guessing not. But would love ot snap a flagship seat. Perhaps its possible to upgrade w miles?

J seats are always J/F seats. PE seats are sold as Y seats.

AA1357 is MIA-JFK.

You'll be able to book F seats assuming they're available, no Flagship Service on this route though. For that you'd need a 77W flight on MIA-LAX or LAX-MIA.

But not on a Y fare like in the good old days,
right?
