And to update the email eticket did in fact come through 7 hours after the booking was made.

p.s. if there are BA segments on your trip, you can find your BA PNR using either Qantas manage my booking feature (Finnair's usually works too).
With the BA PNR, you can see whole trip (or most of it anyway) on checkmytrip.com

(or you can call AA to get the BA PNR)
