On the main page at AA.com you enter the coupon code in the Promotion Code box when searching for your flights. As the OP says, you have to buy and travel before Oct 26. The coupons are also not valid on codeshare flights and possibly not on American Eagle or Connection flights either. The code cannot be used with the multi-city search.

They are good for 10% off the fare price for up to several tickets purchased together.

Sorry, I was in a hurry to get them posted as soon as I realized that we can't use them.

They're good on fares of >$250 for round trip on AA flights; says must be RT itineraries and must be purchased when reserved.
