Citibank checking acct for student, bonus miles, and no minimum balance
Search brought up nothing on this topic..... so:
How does one go about opening a Citibank checking acct for a student to receive bonus miles AND ensure the acct has no minimum balance requirement?
Citibank told me that the "no minimum balance" student offer is only available at student branches, but it seems to me that the bonus miles are only available online.
is there any way around this? Can I open the acct with the student no minimum balance in person and then go online to apply for the AAdvantage debit card and still receive the bonus miles?

If CitiBank is trying to hook you, negotiate with them and see if you can get the miles.
