Last flight yesterday. Great times on over 50 flights on her, but have to admit much prefer the new 321's. Step change in comfort in J even if not a wide body. Good job AA.

Still at least 6 or 7 US 762s left.

No reason to be nostalgic as far as I'm concerned. Good riddance.

I probably don't fly LAX/SFO-JFK as often as many posters here, but I will still miss the 762s. I agree that it seems to be the end of an era for domestic widebodies. I'll always remember my first J and F experiences on those routes. Of course, I also remember the frustration with the numerous mx delays/cancellations in recent years.
I still haven't flown on the A321T, and the reviews seem to be quite positive so far, but I can certainly relate to the nostaglic feelings expressed by some at the loss of the 762.

Well I probably did about 20 flights in the 767-200 over the last 8 years approx.
Experienced the Y,J and F many times too. Upgrades on this flight were very difficult.
Having been on the Airbus 321 recently in F and J, its definitely a huge improvement so nothing to be sad about.
One thing that I will never forget too is that one of these birds crashed into the towers on September 11th. I think the United crash in NY was also a 767-200. Strange that every time I sat in the 767-200 I would remember this but if I fly in a 757 it doesn't bother me.

To me the 767 was a terrible fuselage diameter choice. Particularly for business class where most airlines would have 2-2-2 with a fuselage 2ft or so narrower than Airbus' equivalent. When I discussed it with a Boeing Fellow, he agreed that it was a bad fuselage diameter.
I will have no regret seeing them all gone.
