Heh, it would be amusing to see someone doing that. On the other hand, Robert Plant was really nice when I talked to him briefly about how much I enjoyed his music.

Adam Levine

Flight 135 LHR-LAX, seat 1D

Saw him on the flight but had no idea he was rich or famous. When he walked out of TBIT the paparazzi's cameras started going off and I had to ask someone who he was. It was all lost on me. Oh well.

RIP, Joan.
One time I flew the red eye LAX-JFK with her and the lovely Jim Norton. I saw Jim and said hi, but didn't know Joan was on the flight until Jim mentioned it on his twitter. Had I seen her, I probably would've assumed a SWAT team would've tackled me if I tried to say hi, but I'm glad to hear she was gracious to employees and PAX.

Actually all the members of Maroon 5 were on the flight spread between F and J.

A couple recent sightings:

John McCain in the AC at LAX on 10/23 (not the FL, strangely -- I figured they'd let him in there but either they didn't, or he didn't ask). Dressed in a suit with his American flag lapel pin, LOL.

Pierce Brosnan in 1A on AA 172 LAX-JFK on 10/27, I was seated right beside him in F. He's aging so well.

Passed by Gwyneth Paltrow coming down the security escalators at LAX last night. Surrounded by paps with flashes going off the entire time. Heard a question about Jennifer Lawrence and The Hunger Games.

Scott Wilson (Hershel Greene) from Night of the Living Dead in seat next to me on 2201 DFW to TPA a few weeks back - very chatty, pleasant man. Warren Sapp (former Tampa Bay Buccaneer) across the aisle - very snarky and entitled. Ugh.

Gabrielle Carteris (aka Andrea Zuckerman from 90210) and husband are trying to escape flight 2433 (DFW > LAX), which went mechanical moments ago.

Sitting across the aisle from Julia Stiles (8F) on AA 22 (LAX > JFK). Also in the cabin: Cedering "Voice of the Oscars" Fox and Campbell Scott (9A, 9C) and my seat mate screenwriter Carroll Cartwright, who got a golden ticket and is ONLY AAdvantage Gold.

^ Seems to be very friendly chap.

Regarding Joan Rivers, remember witnessing when she got very angry at staff at LHR T4 when her bag was too big and she questioned why they didnt check other Pax. This was also when the strictly 1 bag only rule was in force.
