A very bad joke within the airlines is connecting service between certain markets... in the past I always chuckled when I saw these come across when digging into my cities:

Fukuoka - Pensacola
Sioux City - Pensacola
Sacramento - Pensacola

And for those that aren't quite up to speed on those codes:

FUK-PNS
SUX-PNS
SMF-PNS (most pronounce SMF as Smurf)

Yes I have a childlike sense of humor.

Well, since AA (or more precisely MQ) is the online commercial carrier with service to Sioux City, I've been wanting to build a FAT-SUX itinerary for a while.

Nah, we pronounce it "SMIFF" around here. Or maybe Sacratomato (as tomatoes are a major ag product around here and Sacramento used to be a major tomato processing center not long ago)..
