How does AA calculate RDM, EQM if I miss the last segment?
How does AA calculate RDM, status-based bonus RDM, or EQM if I miss the last segment?
Many possibilities come to mind, such as:
- I get proportionate RDM and EGM, but no bonus
- I get nothing
- I get RDM, bonus RDM, EQM as if I flew the last segment
- It depends on why I miss the last segment (e.g., cab broke down)
- etc.
P/S - Someone has asked about the impact of missing the last segment, but on an award ticket. I'm referring to a revenue ticket.

You get no credit for the missed segment. You will get appropriate credit for all the segments that you do fly.
Also, doing so violates the Contract of Carriage. If AA chose to, they could come after you to collect the difference in fare between the itinerary you bought and the itinerary you flew (including applicable change fees). Fortunately, they won't do that unless you make a habit of it.

You get the RDM & EQM for the segments flown, no RDM or EQM for the last segment you skip.

Not sure I understand the question. If you don't check in and don't fly, why would anything other than "I get nothing" even be an option?
Cheers.

On this last remark: I was fearing that if I miss checking in the last segment, perhaps AA might forfeit the miles for all previous segments flown.
But not that you mentioned it: what if I checked in for all segments (with no checked-in bags), but still miss the last one? I don't plan to do this often, but I am considering an upcoming trip in which I want to visit a cousin in BOS and we drive to NYC together...hence my missing the last BOS-NYC segment.
I suppose checking in the last segment and not flying it means no miles for that last one.

You don't get your BP scanned to board and fly, you get bupkis for that segment; fortunately, it's your last, so they can't cancel segments pending. I'd not do this too often, however. See "hidden city ticketing" (search for titles for hidden.)
