-People see that AA r/t and VX o/w are the same price (forgetting about the VX companion ticket)
-People wanting o/w ticket purchase r/t ticket intending to only use half of it
-Load factors on the return flights increase and the rest of the available seats may be sold for more $$ as a result
-At the last second there are a bunch of no-shows paving the way for CFC revenue
