DOW fare - is it a "D" fare?

A wine club I'm a member of in Chile has offered a 15% discount on all tickets from Chile to select cities in the US which book into fare type DOW, which I presume means Discounted One Way as it books exclusively into Business intl and First domestic. The resulting fares are higher than just booking a regular RT in business so I'm not going to use it, but I wonder about the fare.

Is it a "D" fare, earning 100% miles, 1.5 EQPs and the 25% cabin bonus, or is it some other fare that would earn reduced miles and EQPs?

The D is the fare basis and doesn't mean discounted. Just as I doesn't mean "itty-bitty" etc.

Most airlines use J or C for full fare business and D and I for lower fares, restricted, promotional in business.

F is used for first and A for discounted first.

The OW probably means one way though.

Do all the fares say OW using this logic? They don't - hence it meaning one-way.
