Those plans are brand new and most not even delivered yet. You might want to read up a bit on this subject.

While there's probably a separate thread on this, has the refurb on the older 772s started yet? As far as we know, those are still losing F rather than getting the new 77W F, right?

Well while this topic has become fresh again......

Think they'll order any more, or even the new 77X?

Well, this is a 2-part question...

Will they order more 777-300ER? Probably not. 20x 777-300ER is a decent size fleet and the new AA also has a bunch of A330 that the old AA didn't have to play with so international capacity is probably where it needs to be.

Will they order 777-9? Probably... eventually... like in another 20 years when Boeing is offering good discount on outgoing 777-9 for whatever comes next

Well, I have doubt it. They will order more 777-300ER anytime soon. They need more 777-300ER to fly elsewhere. Those 777-300ER need to fly to TLV, DXB, JNB, CPT, BOM, DEL and along a few other specific routes, as well.

As for 777-9, it is long way to go. You won't see the 777-9X in a distant the future. They will order the 777-9X anytime soon. Probably they will likely to order the 777-9X sometime in the future. 777-9X is a right size. They will bring more than 400 passengers.
