No major surprises here. Looks like it will only be doing DFW-GRU until Feb 13th. Looks like as of right now it will be running on a DFW-GRU-DFW-LHR-DFW circuit for now then DFW-LHR-JFK-GRU-JFK-LHR-DFW after April 2nd.

Not sure why one would take delivery of a 773 when one has plenty of 772s that could do the job.....hmmmm....you would think they would explore new routes but i no longer work there by choice.^

American Airlines has announced where its news Boeing 777-300ER jets will fly first.
AA will be the first U.S. carrier to take delivery of the 300ER version of the 777, and its first passenger flight on the jet will come Dec. 13 from Dallas/Fort Worth to Sao Paulo.

"American is proud to be among the first in the industry to offer a combination of fully lie-flat seats with all-aisle access, international Wi-Fi, and top-of-the-line in-seat entertainment," Virasb Vahidi, American's Chief Commercial Officer, says in a release announcing the service. "On Dec. 13, our customers can experience these firsts on flights between Dallas/Fort Worth and Sao Paulo."
American will shift its 777-300ERs to its New York JFK-London and DFW-London routes in February and March. In April, the 777-300ER service will be expanded to AA's New York JFK-Sao Paulo route.

AA plans to take delivery of its first 777-300ER in December 2012. The airline – which has 10 777-300ERs on order – says that it will have five of them in its fleet by April, according to FlightGlobal.com.
American has pegged its 777-300ERs for service upgrades, including three classes of service that will include fully lie-flat First and Business Class seats as well as its "Main Cabin Extra" seats in its coach section. The jets also will have international Wi-Fi capability and a self-service bar in the premium cabin stocked with snacks and refreshments. AA says its walk-up bar "will be a first for any U.S. airline."
