ANA & StarFlyer code share
Just saw an advert for code share agreement between ANA and StarFlyer -
https://www.ana.co.jp/dom/airinfo/co...sfj/index.html
Code share starts June 1, 2007
Tickets go on sale from April 20, 2007.
I recall when StarFlyer launched its service - I thought "That looks like a very civilized way to get to Kyushu." Well now it looks even better.
Hey QShoeGuy.... time to organize a QShoeDo?

For the record, StarFlyer does earn mileage with UA if it has an NH flight number. UA sells tickets on StarFlyer, for example as part of a SFO-KIX-HND itinerary.

I used miles on HND-KIX in early October. 6000 miles and no tax. One thing that I found out is that I had to check in with ANA. I went all the way to the end where some other LCC (green was their primary color) was handling check-in for Starflyer. So if you are *G then just head straight to the ANA premium check-in lobby.

Is this really correct re earning UA miles? This would normally only be the case if the flight is a wet lease and it's not.

Well, at least the seat pitch is very generous - I recall they have 144 seats (vs. 180 high density layout, which is typical especially on LCCs).
Separate check-in area also...
They have around 10 tv channels on IFE, although I believe the English language option might have been BBC News on a loop when I flew with them.
If I'm not totally mistaken, there was regular beverage service (soft drinks) offered on HND-KKJ. Similar to ANA in my books.
Overall, very good service for such short flights.

Given that this thread is 8 years old and the last post was in 2011, I suggest if the OP has further questions he ask in a new thread. Thanks!
