The aircraft coming in from London often has some very long time on the ground. Doing the London rotation again, or the morning New York rotation. So it will depend a lot on where it is easier to tow it from to its night time parking. Looking at some recent LHR HND flights, they have all been parked at T3.

From today (3/31), the number of T2 international flights increase from ~15 to ~25 a day, leaving only ~15 flights in T3. Until now, only 71 72 73 along with 700s bus gates were used for international flights at T2. From today, during the morning hours until like 10am, gates 66-69 are also used for international flights, and after 10am or so, these gates (66-70) become domestic gates. Looks like there are more domestic flights use bus gates this morning than usual.

This also means that the extra ANA lounge by gate 114 will be closed permanently. Yesterday was the last day.
Surprisingly, it does not mean that the arrival lounge in T2 has had an opening day announced.
