Yup, that lounge was also less crowded than the one at T3, at least when I compared my morning flights (around 09.00-11.00 earlier this June;August and October)

That would have been in the period where there was only 5 flights a day from T2, so it better be not crowded....

Yea most likely, just remember the gates right after taxfree were crowded, but ANA lounge was half-open but not even half-full (probably even less than 25% than full capacity). I liked T2 more than T3 at least

Sounds great. Looking forward to the next international flight out of T2 then

T2 lounge - Saturday November 25
With 6 long haul departures - YVR, FRA, SYD, MUC, etc…
The lounge started filling up at around 19.00, but it was never more than 40% full.
Wait for shower room was not an issue in early evening.

Now that more international flights are going out of T2, have folks seen a material reduction in crowding at the T3 lounges?

No. Was at T3 lounge 2x last 12 days during the evening rush and it's still as crowded as before. Not sure if T2 flights really help because all the US/SE Asia late departures are all out of T3 at the same time.

Suite lounge at night has been pretty empty (maybe 3-4 other pax). Been twice over the past two weeks.

I was pleasantly surprised by my recent international flight experience in and out of HND T2 on ANA. Clearing Immigration and Customs inbound was very quick and efficient, with a much shorter walk than T3. Outbound at T2, check-in was easy and fast, there was no line at all at the security checkpoint and outbound immigration, and the T2 ANA Lounge was less than 25 percent full as I waited for my 10:15 PM departure.

The only considerations are there are very few duty free shops in the T2 secure area compared to T3 as there are very few international gates in T2, although there was a fairly good duty free shop open in the evening near the T2 ANA Lounge. If you have any last minute shopping to do at the airport, you may wish to consider doing so at the shops outside the secure area. I arrived at the airport early. The inter-terminal free shuttle buses were crowded with long lines, so I used the monorail instead to move between terminals and spent some time at the Haneda Airport Gardens at T3.

The only downside to T2 was with few international gates, my outbound flight was relegated to a bus gate, but this has also happened to me on outbound ANA flights from T3.

Also pleasantly surprised by how empty T2 is for a departure tonight to Singapore. Current wait for a shower is 90 minutes, but I have nothing but time.

I was also surprised to see this bar in the regular lounge. I don’t recall T3’s lounge ever having something like this.

Wait, even though the terminal (and presumably lounge) are empty, you still have to wait 90 minutes for a shower?!

I believe for HND (T2 and T3), showers are separated between suite lounge and ANA lounge.
When I was at T3, estimated 60-10min wait while the lounge was like 20% full (I was 13th in line). Waited 90 min for it

My device hopped onto the suite lounge wifi, there was no wait for suite shower

for NRT satellite 5, I believe both suite + ANA lounge share same shower suite section (no doubt the suite users get priority), so maybe it's not as bad

Didn’t have to hunt for a seat like I usually have to do at T3. Presumably a lot of people showering because of all of the overnight departures. Not a big deal for me though since I was there a few hours before departure. Didn’t mind waiting.

Given that both LHR and JFK depart out of T2, perhaps it's safe to assume that most if not all inbound LHR and JFK flights will also arrive at T2, as those routes are flown by the new 77W subfleet.
