Could you share your routing? and it was about $520 usd per person? and how many ANA miles? thanks!
UA, AC, and Air NZ do not collect any yq. LOT is very low ($60 for long haul). I flew Air NZ from LAX-LHR in J and it was great. Would be nice to have an official list of who does not collect YQ on ANA awards, and those that are low like BR.

Are all carriers imposing fuel surcharges from Brazil now? I'm still seeing very reasonable fees on SA. According to ITA, GRU-JNB, there's only $35 in YR on SA.

Yes. Tried to select flights with lie-flat seats for the most part. There have been equipment/schedule changes since I booked the award - e.g. SQ schedule change took us from a 772 to a 77W, which have better J-class seats, but SA has changed their 333 to their older 332 & ET swapped their 788 for a 772. All the same, still getting good mileage (pun intended) for my membership rewards points!

Screwed up RTW booking
I just booked an atw ticket for 125,000 points and 164,500 Yen. (Why I’m getting charged in yen I don’t know, and why so expensive? That’s nearly $1,500 in fees!!)
