award reservation glitch or...

Programs: AS MVPG 75k, UA zilch, IHG Spire, Marriott Plat, Hyatt Plat, Hertz Gold, Avis Presidents

award reservation glitch or...
Haven't seen this discussed, so am starting a new thread.
It looks like domestic NW, AA, DL all can now be done w/ online award reservations - which is great! However, it seems that it only works for destinations that AS already flies. Does this mean that the only recourse is to call the partner desk and book an award flight through them?
Specifically, I have been looking at SEA-OGG. I am able to pull up partner award flights for SEA-HNL successfully (and at 40k vs 70k for AS, that's a good deal) but nothing for SEA-OGG (which should be available from all three of those partners).
Any thoughts?
