Can I Earn NW miles on AS codeshare op'd with AA metal?

Can I Earn NW miles on AS codeshare op'd with AA metal?
Title says it all. If I book the JFK-SEA AS codeshare, AS1863, which is operated by an AA 757 (currently available on Orbitz for a low $147 one way), can I earn WorldPerks miles? Or do AS flights have to be on AS metal to accrue NW mileage? Thanks in advance.

I would have to agree with rwinn. Otherwise, shouldn't we be able to upgrade to FC too? (and believe me, I've tried)
