This is my return flight for my weekend trip to NYC that will likely not happen at this point due to all the Max drama, so just posting for as a DP. This is also the earliest I've ever received an upgrade ever.

there’s one post in the other thread where the individual didn’t put status in the post, but profile shows 100K

my next two flights are paid F (Sun 21) and GGUd (Fri 26), so will not be reporting here; that said, Tue 30 and Wed 31 are good candidates for reports

Originally on Max9 SEA-IAD, 6 seats not assigned at T-120, Upgraded at T-119, Switched to SEA/DCA at T-70 to a 737-800. Moved to waitlist at #3, Was #2 at boarding. Two FC were No Show. Saw deadhead flight crew boarded into 3A. #1 was sitting cross aisle and asked if they wanted to get upgraded, they were happy to not be sitting in a middle seat. Got assertive and asked Flight Attendant if First Class seat were available for upgrade from Premium, They checked with Gate Agent and #1 was upgraded to 3D. I was stuck in 10D due flight crew being placed in 3A. I am flying a turnaround for MR, Hopefully the flight crew member is flying my airplane back to SEA.

Waitlist: #2 until about T-48 hours, then raised to #1 where I died

Up until about 6 hours before departure there was one open first class seat, but then according to the standby list, a deadheading employee snagged it before the system upgraded me :\
Anyone know the policy about deadheads getting upgraded before passengers?
