1 open seats in FC at T-120. 1 open seats in FC at T-72, #1 and # 2 on waitlist. Upgraded at T-24.
Once I saw we were #1 and #2 at T-72 hours with one seat open, I thought we would get bypassed like so many 100K's before. Two more seats opened up at T-36 and I was thinking we had a chance, if the upgrade professor was sober. They were and we got upgraded on an award ticket.

Flight was sold out in F. I was seated in an exit row aisle and right before door closure, the Gate Agent came through and pulled me up to F ( I was #1 on the WL). Two seats were open - my guess is a missed connection from an International flight - I saw other people board that said Immigration was backed up. Another person was called up to the other seat.
This was my MM flight. After takeoff, over the intercom they announced that this flight made me a MM. Before landing, the FAs also gave me a card signed by all of them. A very nice touch actually.
