Check my figures, please
Hi, I haven't been able to travel much this year and won't be until late October...want to keep my Gold status if not get back to 75K but am a bit worried I'm not calculating correctly....it's going to be late in the year to be realizing I made an error!
Flying ANC/SEA, SEA/TPA in D 9880 EQM?
TPA/SEA in C 6990
SEA/ANC in D 3600
On BA in A SEA/LHR r/t 33560
On Ba in I LHR/SRH r/t 2446
Would someone good at this mind taking a look at my figures, please? Also am I right - the award ticket I hold right now for the ANC/TPA r/t could be used for the outbound and the final SEA/ANC but I need to buy the return from TPA to SEA? That way should I happen to get in a couple of trips I could buy the rest and get to 75K.
Many, many thanks in advance! KM

ANC-SEA credits at 1448 o/w, so a D fare would credit at 150% or 2172 EQM o/w.
Not sure of exact mileage for SEA-LHR but at ~4800 an A fare at 250% should credit about 24K EQM r/t. Likewise no clue on SEA-TPA but assuming ~2500, a C fare at 175% would be 4375 o/w.
SRH is the code for Sarh, Chad so assuming that’s a typo. BA I fares credit at 150% EQM.

Thanks! I will get 12 segments if I get to 75K but thinking that's unlikely this year. The elite miles didn't seem quite right when I was calculating and I think what you are saying is that it's a 50% bonus for EQM over base miles? Yuk... have not had to worry for quite awhile and I hate the charts....it would be so easy to make them truly decipherable! The BA earning chart for credit to AS seems to say a couple of different things. What does an A fare earn SEA/LHR r/t, please? Thank you!
And, yeah, I mistyped...no plans to go to Chad! Meant LHR. Many thanks!

Ha, just last night I watched a Noel Philips trip review flying Sao Paolo - Addis Ababa - Manchester on the Ethiopian Airlines 788 & 789, and whilst in Addis Ababa he pointed out a Dash 8 from Chad’s airline! I guess for African airlines, we are limited to Royal Air Maroc.

For your ANC >> TPA rt - i calculated it to be 12,534 EQM
For you BA trip to LHR (assuming its a BA ticketed and operated flight) - 24,000 eqm
you third BA trip - not sure where you are going....
but for the flights listed its 36534 eqm - you need to hit 6 AS segments (you will only have 4)
still 3466 EQM short.
As mentioned - BA i fares credit at 150% so you need a rt of at least 1155 mi from LHR to hit MVP gold 40k threshold.
Remember,
AS first class fares post differently now.
D, I classes - 150%
C class - 175%
J class - 200%
