Couple of IAG Questions when using Alaska miles
Have a trip to Europe coming up flying EI there and BA back.
On the EI portion am flying SEA-DUB-FCO, the first segment is in biz so the baggage allowance is clear but the second segment is after a 17 hour overnight layover. I am assuming this gives me the standard baggage allowance which is? (The website and agents have not been very clear when it's on alaska award)
On the BA portion I am unable to select a seat for free even though I'm OW Sapphire since I just regained MVP Gold. Does it take the systems awhile to "connect" to reflect my new OW status? Or is this something I need to take action on?
