We experienced this at BUR - woman in front of us saying loudly, "we have the credit card, we're priority," while her husband said, no, our boarding pass says group B. She insisted that the credit card overrode the BP, and she and her family all boarded before anyone in F.

And the thing is, they have just updated the boarding group list on the web site last night. I'm guessing this happened before then, but now the new Group C is the cardholders -- after the elites and those flying F or Premium, and before the rest of general boarding. What used to be C through E is now D through F. Still, how many people will hear "now boarding Priority" and people who are flying a Saver fare will think, "hey, we're up!"

Part of the problem with not rolling out the boarding changes and the credit card changes loudly and at the same time. And not just saying "Get Group B boarding!" for the credit card.

No kidding.

Or just make First + 100K be group A and shift everything else down one, that would also be much clearer.

Or change the name of the initial boarding group from Priority to Premium.

Doesn't work, because there's "Premium Class."

At this point, let's just go with -A. Now boarding, Group negative A--this should be abundantly clear, non?

All I really want is my overhead bin space, but as a 100K with a FC boarding pass, this is how I feel now:

That explains why I thought of it so easily. How about Select?

Or Prime? Wait that might make people think they got bought out by Amazon
Choice could work... Maybe I'm just hungry

How about A B C D E ... LMNOP (as necessary). Alternatively, 1 2 3 4 5 ...

Having recently flown other airlines with Boarding Zones 1 and 2, I can tell you that my ego did not inflate, deflate, conflate, or experience any other sort of flation by not specifically hearing "Business Class may board now," or "Those with Shiny Metal Status may board now." Nonetheless, if I had been in Zone 5 et seq., I may have flated.

First at least is boarding with the 100k. On UAL the 1k (100k) pax board BEFORE first class. And there are a lot of 1k on UAL all boarding before F.

Does it really matter? The 1Ks are either in F, or they are in E+ or exit row and unlikely to steal the First Class cabin overhead space.

Let's be honest. They could announce boarding for seat 4A and 10 people would approach the gate
