Wi-Fi Unavailable E-mails and texts

So, thanks AS for sending me a text and e-mail about the lack of Wi-Fi on my flight today. The problem is, you don't say WHICH of my 3 flights, including a Q400 leg, is the one affected! If it's just the Q400, well then yeah no problem. But if it's one of the jets, that's unexpected.

This might actually be worth sending in an e-mail to Alaska Listens. Just add the flight number that has the issue!

As in you just told someone? If so, thanks!

If they have been sitting on it, it seems like kind of an easy win they could knock out if they wanted to.

None of the Q400s have wifi, so I’d assume they are referring to a jet-operated leg. But, yes, I have also received the notification and then the wifi worked fine on board.

there’s this thing called a “tail swap” that happens *a lot*, esp on flights originating SEA

I did a SEA-SJC-SEA turn last week … when I checked in, the jet was supposed to be 583; overnight it got switched to 560; by the time I got to the airport it had changed to 565
