Received the email offer too on my personal card. Not sure if it'll influence my behavior one way or the other since I don't anticipating needing the extra EQMs.

So I'm going to be one of the weirdos taking advantage of this "deal" since I'll be a couple thousand EQMs from MVP Gold.

Does anyone know the timing of when the elite miles are posted to your account? Wondering if the terms & conditions are accurate or if it is faster.

Another weirdo here. I am waiting for my first 1K. My statement that brought my spend over the first $5k just closed, and I was thinking that the EQM might perhaps post with the RDM, but that didn’t happen.

T&C: Elite-qualifying miles will be credited to your Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan account within the first two billing cycles after qualifying.

I'm still waiting after 2 statements have closed. I just now tried to call customer care but wait was 2-3 hours.

Has anyone had the elite miles post?

I passed the $5k threshold some time in May. The statement closed in early June.

By doing a lot of mileage runs (MRs) during non-peak seasons. 100,000 miles = 20 transcon roundtrips x $250 per trip = $5,000 -> can probably do it for cheaper.

I’m searching my emails to see if I received this offer. Problem is we get practically daily emails from Alaska. Does anyone know the title of the email you received for this offer?

My first 1,000 EQM just posted on 7/18/2022. Statement closed on 7/6/2022. This is the first statement that qualified me for any EQM bonus.

The statement actually put me through $35K of spend, so I should have received 7,000 EQM. Not sure why only 1K was credited. Will wait until next month to see what will happen.

You absolutely sure you didn't make it the previous month? My statement that closed on 6/12 put me over for my first EQM award, and I didn't get it until 7/18. Based on that I'd expect the big lump of EQM to show up on 8/18. (Is the rule of thumb "wait about a month, and then wait for the 18th?")

I'm being an utter dilettante about Alaska status this year, so I'm tracking it pretty closely because I think I can still squeak by with MVP. (Usually I'm easily somewhere close to Gold just with BIS miles.) I would expect anything gained through this offer to count for 2023 status even if it doesn't post until sometime in 2023, but I'd rather not test it.

It looks like the remaining 7K EQM from the 7/6/2022 statement just posted on 8/23/2022. I was getting frustrated, but knowing BOA and Alaska would just point fingers at each other and the reps would have absolutely zero clue what this is about, I decided to just wait. Another 1K EQM also posted for the statement that closed on 8/6/2022 that spent another $5K. So everything is now caught up for me.

Never got this email, but hoping they redo last years 5k for 5k one. That saved my 75k for one more year...
