I recently flew on a MAX from ANC to SEA. Both Alaska Beyond entertainment and satellite Wi-Fi functioned properly.

In agreement with the other comments, the cabin was very warm and I don't like how weak the air vents are. I recently flew on the A321 for the first time and was impressed at how strong the air vents were.

Hopefully not too far off-topic: where can one find "a few days before a flight" a scheduled AS plane's tail#? TIA!

Here you go: https://alaskafleetstatus.weebly.com/

It's fairly accurate but I have been burned a couple times with the flight being listed as 2Ku enabled only to find out it has no over-ocean wifi.

When selecting an F seat on a MAX flight, I got a warning that 1F does not recline. Is that true, or is it just another gift from the geniuses at Alaska IT???

1F doesn’t recline only when the cabin crew lock the seats. All kidding aside that has to be a quirk since all of the First Class seats do recline.

Where can I find pitch distances on the 737? Trying to decide if I have more room in premium class at 35inches or the exit row. Thanks.

There’s more room at exit rows - I think it’s 41” - but you have a lower profile seat cushion.

Is there any reason the MAX all the sudden stopped flying to Florida? I know they were pretty heavily used in FLL and MCO up until this week.

Was on a new max 737-900 SEA-KOA on 4/1.

Agree on weak air vents / hot, and the FAs said because the plane was so new they couldn't make coffee or tea.

While I normally wouldn't care, I had been counting on that coffee on my long trip. Wish I knew prior to boarding.

Are FAs (rather than the pilots) able to adjust (lower) the cabin temp on the MAX?

I was about to board a pretty new 737 MAX a couple months ago but we had to change planes because apparantly the coffee machine was malfunctiong which was a "safety issue"

There has been an issue with the coffee makers on the Max not that its because they are new.
