Historically C9 is where AS has its fun sendoffs. Inaugural flights etc... There is room for balloons and cake, sometimes more, and sometimes less. If they are doing any lamination of 73Max bag tags, I'll take a beckoa one
Those are hit or miss. And alas, I miss the adventure- I fly thru SEA Tuesday the 2nd. Have fun!

(geek alert the last AS four-engine jet was the Convair 880, ~1961)

Am sure with all the negative attention and press MAX has gotten over the past few years, AS would rather just add them to their fleet and hope most of the flying public doesn't know the difference vs making it a huge fun event.

I landed there on AS thursday night and it took them a while to get a jetway driver out to us - the Captain commented that it was an unusual gate to come in at, but we were early so it must be used for overflow.

Super Bowl mileage bid / lottery flights were out of C9 -- lots of food, swag, music, media. Hubby and I were in FC. Sat behind Russell Wilson's family who were in row 1 on way home (loss to Patriots).
