Some Passengers Banned on AS Flight Back From the DC Insurrection
https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle...airlines-says/
Did their tourism go differently than planned?
At least 14 people could be placed on Alaska Airlines’ banned passengers list after they were rowdy, argumentative and refused to wear masks on a flight from Dulles International Airport to Seattle, the airline said. Airline spokesperson Ray Lane said those facing the possible ban were on Flight 1085 from the D.C.-area airport to Sea-Tac International Airport on Thursday night.

Based on the "Elizabeth from Knoxville" video where one members of 'Vanilla ISIS' was crying about getting a face full of mace and whining like a petulant child that "We were storming the Capitol, it's a revolution!" - I don't think much of anything entered anyone's mind.
Glad some of these people got banned. Society & business needs to stop coddling and enabling them. They need to choose to come back to reality or continue to live in their conspiracy bubble and if they choose the latter, they should be shunned by all.

Why is the decision to ban them even in question? They should be on a terror watch list along with the entirety of Vanilla ISIS.

I guess they didn't do the safety dance?

This is the right way to go. Alaska should ban for unruly behavior and refusal to wear a mask. Banning for clothing with political statements - while in their right - is a separate issue.

Among other things.
Usually being involved in an insurrection where people are being shot or killed indicates a lack of wanting to be safe.

I suspect that many of these people will be headed back to DC soon, accompanied by the FBI! That's a mileage run I would prefer not to take!

during the past few years I've seen probably two dozen generic 733s and 734s over my house on approach to BFI ... FlightAware/FR24 data showed many as Customs & Border Protection flights, but several recent ones were operated by the U.S. Marshals Service

Not sure why AS needs to hand wring about banning anyone who, once warned, did not immediately put a mask on. It's what other carriers routinely do and has nothing to do with the remainder of their behavior.

"rowdy and argumentative behavior" implies there might have been some failure to follow crew member instructions on other matters besides mask-wearing, which can lead to other consequences besides being banned from the airline
