It's not terrible but I don't particularly like the La Marca prosecco, especially if I want a mimosa. I'm blanking on the name of it but the stuff VX used to serve (and that AS continued to serve for a while on Airbus flights until it eventually went entirely to La Marca) was quite a bit better IMO.

Which is pretty good. House wine in a can does not get my vote. (Current sparkling wine)

I cannot find an AS Lounge Wine List

All this talk about wine got me thinking about what is being served. I could not find a wine list for the free choices and premium choices (with cost) in the AS lounge. Can someone point me to it?

Thansk!
Mike

I don't recall ever seeing one. I can tell you that the comp swill has been marginal for years. Sometimes, it has been the foodservice version of two buck chuck (not available for retail sale, so you can't comparison shop). While the comp beer selections have been respectable in recent years, if AS spent another 79¢ a bottle, we'd be much more happy.

In the United club they have a chardonnay. I've never seen a complimentary Chardonnay in the Alaska club. I would prefer a Chardonnay to the Pinot grigio.

I've had some AS chardonnay over the years that ended up "in a better place" after I couldn't drink more than a couple of sips.

That's how I feel about the Pinot Grigio. I can put up with some subpar Chardonnay if it is complimentary though.

Sometimes, dropping in a few ice cubes can work wonders.

Yep - I typically ask for ice in the lounge and on board when drinking whites because it keeps it colder longer and cuts some of the sting from the cheap quality.

Sometimes, pinching your nose and shooting it helps too.

Sometimes, substituting the wine with vodka and a splash of soda and some lemon squeezes actually helps much more better!

When I was last in SEA N they had a red from Browne as one of the premium offerings.
