8/9 OAK/SEA. 75K. Purchased months ago. V class.
No upgrade for me!
.... No go. #3 and 4 on the list. F sold out for weeks. Debbie Harry and her entourage took up much of the F cabin and some of Y, too. So much for choosing the 739 for a better chance.

I'm not a big fan of celebrity sightings on flights, but that one is pretty cool.

I am in I for BWI-PDX today on AS385. No waitlist, and had three open F until about two hours out from departure. Was all empty middle PC seats but all full now there.

SEA/SFO
75K. #3 and 4 on list. A320. F full for days.
L fare
0 for 3 in 2019 and all were shorter haul. Every visit to the F cabin in the past couple of years has either been paid or a GGU @ booking.

Cleared into Y+ at about T-48, F maybe T-3?
Purchased around a month ago.
100% upgrade rate into F on flights between SEA and FAT this year, 0% on all else. Luckily, this is by far my most common flight, so I've been overall very pleased with my first year as an MVP!

8/1/19 BUR-SEA AS 589 MVP Not even close .... 16/18 on the list
8/5/19 BUR-SEA AS 1150 MVP 5/8 on the list - if we'd had a new config A320 I still wouldn't have made the cut
I'm 0% on flights to/from BUR this year. So many more elites on that route than when I first moved to LA.

Caught a pair of UGs into FC at the gate for our 8/11 flight out of PHX to PAE on #2803.
we are both MVPGs, tixs were T class and purchased in late May.
we were third and fourth on the list of eight.
this flight was almost 90 mins late due to the incoming plane’s diversion to BOI for a medical emergency.
under the Force Majeure clause of the C of C no compensation is the most likely outcome of this later service.
the PAE terminal was full of unhappy folks awaiting their flight to SAN when we finally arrived.

8/11 LAS-SEA AS141 MVPG Purchased 8/9.
F Upgrade c.12 hours before my flight even though I had not yet checked in. When I had checked the day before, there were 7 or 8 F seats available.

8/19/19 SFO-DCA AS 1001 75K - Cleared a full 5 days out - a first for me on this SFO-DCA route.
Interestingly, when I cleared, we were on an 8F pre-reconfig A321. T-48 from departure, plane swapped to reconfigured A321 with 16F. at T-12, plane swapped back to 8F pre-reconfig A321 and stayed that way. The result: I noticed three people who had been in rows 3-4 (presumably upgraded there during MVPG window), were relegated to the waitlist. No way to tell if they got re-upgraded at the gate. As has been discussed on this and the Airbus reconfig thread, we can expect these sorts of swaps back-and-forth to keep happening until reconfigs are done.
At boarding, the flight was oversold and the GAs had to compensate four volunteers to take a later flight.
