I Got/Didn't Get MVP/Gold/75K Upgrade on AS (2019)

I posted this in the 2018 thread. 2/25/19 SEA-IAH AS350 MVPG M Fare 3/10-11/19 IAH-JNU AS413/75 MVPG M Fare Immediate upgrade as U space was available. Wife (MVPG), also upgraded on a companion fare. 2/21/19 JNU-SEA AS76 MVPG U fare now I was checking the app on my flights and this itinerary had a schedule change requiring a call in to reservations. Turned out one flight had changed 10 minutes. While on the call, I realized I booked the wrong flight (wanted afternoon but booked early morning flight which we flew often in 2018). So I requested a change to the afternoon and the agent changed it, checked for upgrades and upgraded us. |

1/12/19 SEA-SBA AS418 75K W-class (12.5K one-way award) Upgrade cleared at T-120 hours (received e-mail) 1/14/19 SBA-SEA AS433 75K W-class (12.5K one-way award) Upgrade cleared at T-120 hours (did not receive-mail) 1/14/19 SEA-DEN AS618 75K W-class (12.5K one-way award) Upgrade cleared at T-80 hours (received e-mail) Looks like the "8-open-seats-in-F or more" rule is valid. Nice to see on an award ticket, especially on a 737-800 (SEA-SBA-SEA) with only 12 F seats. |

SFO/LAX 1927 75K W (+ Companion) position on waitlist - 1 and 2 Ticketed a long time ago The earlier flight canceled, and both were F4 (on A320s) the evening prior, so no surprise. |
1/8 PHX-SEA 8a departure: UG @ 72 hours or thereabouts 1/9 SEA-PHX 340p departure: No UG love for me today. But I did get another Y chocolate bar for the collection! |
1/6 SEA-OGG 5:55 pm departure. My wife and I were upgraded 24 hours prior (approximately). Nice way to start the New Year!
