Alaska Airlines jet hits de-icing truck in Boston

Post Alaska Airlines jet hits de-icing truck in Boston

A plane heading to Portland, Oregon accidentally collided with a parked de-icing truck on the taxiway at Logan International Airport Monday afternoon before takeoff, the Massachusetts Port Authority said.

According to the Boston Globe and WCVB, no one was inside the truck and no one was injured.

BOS again? Between the deicing trucks and the gates, Massport really had it out for AS.

I'm on AS 15 this afternoon. Is there a deicing truck saying similar to lightning... Where it shouldn't hit the same place?

Looks like N263AK is still here and missing a bottom winglet.

Yeah you could see from the photo in the article, they were looking at that winglet. Hopefully just replacing it will get it back in action?

Unfortunately it might not be quite that easy

How is AS doing on spare airframes? The plane is soo new...
