If your request did not include a copy of both sides of your current elite card OR a screenshot of your digital elite membership card and a screen shot of your online account showing your name, current status and YTD miles flown please re-submit. I requested status match in end of December and it was processed last week. Is my MVP 75K status valid until end of 2017 or 2018? If it was processed before calendar year changed, it would be a no brainer. Not sure about it now....

End of 2017. AS won't start doing 2018 matches until much closer to the end of 2017.

applied for status match from AA exec plat 2 weeks ago, it has not been processed, i suppose it is fairly normal, right?

Reading the benefit list however seems to indicate that it should be allowed, given that they do specifically specify that matched 75k status will not give the 50k miles at qualification or renewal, while there is no exclusion note for the nomination benefit.

It happens, but not to most people. I have a friend who just got gifted MVP status for no obvious reason. Our only guess is perhaps they gave it to him because he took a paid F trip on VX last year.

i doubt i can get a status match at this point but if I had southwest companion pass till end of december and didn't re-qualify any chance they would match that or did I need to request prior to expiration?

Recent posts on the statusmatcher website indicate that AS only matches A-list or A-list Preferred members and does not match those who are only Companion Pass holders.
